This research is the result of cooperation between the Global Fund for Women, Women Now for Development, and IMPACT – Civil society research and development.
The main motive behind the research was the question of what are the needs, challenges, and opportunities of women and feminist organizations in Syria and how they can be supported on the best way to develop cooperation and effective partnership.
To answer this question, we interviewed 92 individuals and provided data on the work of 76 different organizations and groups in key regions throughout Syria.
To our knowledge, this is the most extensive research on this topic.
